Indoor project number 1 -- our bedroom

OK, so this was the lovely bedroom we inherited from le Docteur et Madame Rey.

Not exactly our style.

After we removed the carpeting and scraped the tiles,

we removed the pink fabric and padding as well as five million staples.

It's not easy to photograph such a monastic room. We call it un-decorating.

Tomette

The three groundfloor bedrooms have awfull, velvety carpeting over the original tomette. 

It took 3 week-ends to restaure just one of them.

Across the bridge: 1 hour (with the push mower)
