The kitchen is finally fully functional, Tom and m-c are in over-drive and so is the cherry tree (cooking/organizing/blooming, respectively.)

Well, this worked out.

This week, we get counter tops, Tom gets the stove of a lifetime, and ironically, m-c gets the privilege of "preparing" the first meal in the new kitchen (still no water or electricity.)

And m-c believes that in spite of all this, Aud will continue to sit where she's always sat. We'll see...

Colette meets Borko (or at least, his stuff)

During his visit with us last week, Borko took us up on our suggestion to leave a bag with some useful belongings at la Berge for future use. Colette found the bag and instinctively knew that Borko was a discriminating man who would appreciate her skills.
