Getting ready for the next generation
We got a bouncy chair that we hope will be used by as many babies as possible, and a cardigan that is obviously only suitable for a boy named Henry.
Welcoming Thérèse at la Bergerie
Tante Thérèse has always had a special place in the hearth of the Garneau girls. She vacationed with the family every summer before she was married and she was always willing to let us play with the content of her purse and wear her jewelry. It later transpired that she had a secret talent for painting, and Marthe asked her to make a copy of a favorite painting for her 50th wedding anniversary. The painting made it to La Berge last week. We love having a little bit of Thérèse with us here.
Tante Thérèse et oncle Gilles, a few weeks ago. Bises!

We finally have new rugs!
We lost our rugs in the flood and finally got them replaced just in time for winter. This is where Lily's 10€ Ikea rug used to be.

Le nid de frelons géant.
Mr Thierry discovered there were some wasps in the attic. Upon closer inspection by an exterminator, it turned out to be a giant nest. All gone now. Merci Mr Berthier.
