From left to right: The Leclerc swatter, cheap in cost and construction. Self-destructs over a short period of time. Aud’s only option until now. The American swatter: a better version of the Leclerc Swatter. The Edison swatter: electrifies the flies. Slightly dangerous for any object that stands between you and the fly. The Hermes swatter: engraved wood and leather. Engraving reads “Fly or die”. Upon seeing it, our cleaning-lady Colette immediately asked if we could procure one for her.

Tom's current favorite cookbook is Yotam Ottolenghi's Jerusalem and he constantly complains that the recipes require a ridiculous amount of chopping. This time, the culprit is from another favorite cookbook: Aud's recipe's, Aud = Memaw = Gran. But obviously, there will be some Ottolenghi's preparation in the not too distant future.
