Welcome to France!

On December 3rd 1941, this kitchen table and chairs were delivered to Aud's family home in Belleville, Illinois. Just 4 days later, the United States involvement in World War 2 began with the attack on Pearl Harbor. It's easy to imagine the many animated discussions about France that must have taken place around this kitchen table. Enjoy your visit!

Introducing Roy and Luc. En français, Roy is a chevreuil and Luc is a bouc. A big merci to Ann and Brad for getting them to us. They are AMAZING!

Archeological find

We found these in a drawer in the garage. The legend at the bottom reads
Black: trim in winter
Blue: trim after blooming
Red: trim in spring
